Rude Cakes – Quick Review

Rude Cakes by Rowboat Watkins is hilarious! A great book about what can happen if you’re rude. It’s unpreachy, surprising, and just delightful.

A pink cake is just darn rude and never listens or says thank you. But then… surprise! The cyclopses (who love hats) get confused, and accidentally put the pink cake on instead! The cake needs to learn some manners, and maybe get in touch with feelings, to get back home and make things right.

Rude cakes is a giggle inducing book with a great message. Perfect for this preschool family. And the cyclopses are not scary, phew! Great for 2-6 year olds. Themes include manners, learning new behavior

And the read inspired cupcakes, decorated by the kiddo. Can’t go wrong.

Rude Cakes is available on Amazon and Bookshop.

Rowboat Watkins has also written Pete With No Pants and Most Marshmallows, both such fun.
