Just a few minutes away from Culver City is a great place for parents to stay while visiting you and the kiddos: the Marina del Rey Marriott.
Yes, that Marina Del Rey.
Hotel information:
Marina del Rey Marriott
4100 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, California 90292

This gorgeous hotel is only 8 minutes from our house, just down the 90 as The Californians drive. It’s 5 miles from the airport and about 15 minutes from downtown Culver City. It’s an easy place to meet, with a playground across the street and plenty of restaurants to walk to, plus a great bar and plenty of wandering room inside the hotel.
And the views can’t be beat.
It’s not a budget hotel, but you get what you pay for. Rooms come in at around $330 for a Friday night with a king bed. Visitor parking is also steep, but you do get a discount if you make a purchase at the Sinder Lounge. And it’s easy, which is worth the price. There is also parking in nearby lots, including the $10 all-day beach parking we paid for just across the street.
Speaking of the Sinder Lounge, I ate every last bit of their margarita pizza. They took the cheese off to make it vegan for me. Those tomatoes were as good as they look! When my father in law asked for a strawberry margarita, which they don’t have, the bartender took the time to create something on the fly. It was more like a strawberry lemonade, but it hit the spot!
This is a great place if you need a good quality, easy access, nearby hotel for a short stay.
